FAQ
How do I get an estimated price?
I cannot quote over the phone, but I encourage you to email or text clear images of your piece(s) with a brief description of what you want repaired.
If you are local, you are welcome to schedule an appointment for an in person consultation
Do you take commissions?
Absolutely! I welcome new work, or old works re-imagined. Contact me for a consultation
What is the turnaround time?
Factors like the projects complexity, existing backlog, and in some cases the time of year will play into the completion time. For example, work that requires polishing would normally take 4-5 weeks.

I will give you and estimate and then follow up with an approximate date
What is the difference between conservation versus restoration?
Conservation focuses on the stabilization and preservation of an object using preventative measures to inhibit on-going or future deterioration.
Restoration deals with returning an object to its original state, an assumed condition, or an earlier appearance.
What metals do you work with?
I repair and conserve a variety of metals, including silver, brass, bronze, copper, steel, and iron.
Methods include fabrication, casting, chasing and repousse, brazing, and patination.

Do you work onsite?
A part of my service can include onsite work depending on a few factors:
- You are unable to safely dismantle the piece
- The object is mounted and cannot be easily transported
- The size of your collection

Other limitations can occur, but if you are in need of onsite cleaning (e.g. liturgical work), that can be arranged as well.
